You didn't know we had a rock-stah in the fam, did you??
A couple of weeks ago, Deacon's babysitter had to do some kind of funky something with her boys' hair since it was crazy hair night at AWANAs at church, so she texted me and asked me if it would be okay to do something to Deacon's hair.
My response?
"Totally fine with it."
The "something" she was going to do to Deacon's hair was just some colored hairspray that washes out but I didn't know she was going to spike into a mohawk. As soon as I got the photo from her on my phone of my "rockstar", I texted back "I love it!!"
He was rocking that hairstyle, let me tell you.
In fact, I looked at the can of hairspray when I went to pick him up, thinking to myself, "Maybe I need to get some of this for myself...just to, you know, switch things up a little bit from time to time." :)
He loved it, telling me "it's red, mommy -- it's red!" when I went to pick him up. Fun times!
